Dataton WATCHOUT multi-display production software orchestrates still images, animations, graphics, video, sound and live feeds in a single impressive show. It is used in a wide range of applications such as live events, 3D mapping, broadcast, digital signage and visitor attractions. It is fully scalable with no limitations on displays, channels and resolutions.

The user-friendly show creation tool allows for a flexible combination of different media elements – image, text, video and tweens – on an infinite number of timelines or auxiliary timelines. This enables the quick and easy creation of dynamic content. A variety of output formats – from standard 4K to uncompressed 8K – is supported. The virtual display feature provides a flexible way to map pixels on 3D geometry or LED walls through a wall processor.

Input variables can be registered and unregistered at any time. They are updated at the same rate as the main timelines, i.e., every 1 millisecond (Requires Manager V6/Showmaster V2 or higher).

Auxilary timelines are displayed in the Timeline Editor of the current loaded show. These are used to define inputs, tweens or layers and can be activated via the Load Show command. Cue names can be assigned to these auxilary timelines using the Register Cue Name command. The status of an auxilary timeline can be changed dynamically using the Set Aux Timeline Status command. Changing the layer condition of an auxilary timeline may result in the change of its corresponding cue name position or the display of a different image (Watchout V5.1.0 or greater). The 'Power Down Aux Timeline' command can be used to power down an entire cluster of players defined by a specific auxilary timeline.
